Ada penelitian yang menyebutkan bahwa berpikir bisa menguras 300 kalori per hari, meski dalam kondisi tidak memikirkan hal yang berat atau rumit. Sedangkan untuk berpikir keras ada tambahan 1-1,5 kalori per hari. Nah biasanya yang membuat kurus justru stress berlebih hingga kehilangan nafsu makan. Tapi tentunya kalau ingin kurus ya harus defisit kalori
